Note I almost always take heroism on warriors whether its a tank or dps build. I usually run my party one shield tank and one dps warrior with a bow (if things go my way) Warrior with heroism and riposte with a rapier and high dodge gear can be brutal. I love two handed mace/hammer for knock back, add a bow to deal with anything out of range. Full crystalline transformation warrior imo is a beast, add gear for armor and improve stunt chance and you have a slow unkillable tank. Imo warriors are beasts, but to each his own. Playing on harder difficulty means you have to sometimes choose who gets the gear. So personally my warriors always carry my game because well. I'm not a fan of mystics, I like warriors. Get your Warrior a Water (extra move on a stunt) or Fire (damages 3 nearby enemies on a stunt) Elemental weapon and it'll be all uphill from there.Īlso remember it goes beyond the skills and into gear. Your warrior will be whirling around the battlefield, taking out multiple enemies in a single turn. Riposte, Untouchable+, and Broad Swipes+ are a similarly devastating combo IMO, though not quite as OP.įinally, Battledance+, Long Reach, and Broad Swipes+ is also an extremely effective combo. I usually give my warriors at least one of the two so that they have at least one defensive ability in their arsenal. Vigilance and Paladin are both great as well, especially together, but it depends a bit on whether you're looking for a more defensive Tank build or a damage-dealing slaying machine. I take Broadswipes pretty much any time it comes up, because it's fantastic. Put any kind of spear in their hands and it becomes absolutely OP. Can confirm that Long Reach, Broad Swipes+, and Vigilance+ are all devastating combos when it comes to warrior builds.
